Tourism and agritourism entrepreneurs will now have an additional chance to apply for a loan and further grow their business in these sectors.

A fund of €100-million-euro loan, BERZH funds agribusiness and tourism sectors €100-million-euro loan, BERZH funds agribusiness and tourism sectors100 million euros is being provided by BERZH to companies wishing to expand in these fields. An agreement has been signed with the Bank of Albania.

Moreover, the Albanian government is allocating another 36 million euros from the state budget in order to further support this program, in addition to providing a safety net to cover losses in the first 3 years.

This won’t be the first fund of its kind being provided to Albanian enterprises, as the tourism and agribusiness development program has started in 2016.

Over 100 million euros have been emitted since last year, some of which have come in the form of grants.

In more than 5 years, 6,100 companies have profited from over 70 million euros in loans.

Bank of Albania governor Gent Sejko and ministers Frida Krifca and Mirela Kumbaro were the ones who signed the deal between BERZH and the Bank of Albania.
