The report published by the US Department of State on corruption, shows clearly that the United States doesn’t support the government currently led by PM Edi Rama, said the head of DP’s parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj.
According to Alibeaj, the DoS report proves that Rama is the greatest evil for Albanian citizens.
The US confirmed what has been shouted loudly by the Democratic Party for some time now, including the issues with vote-rigging and manipulation, said Alibeaj.
Amongst other things, Alibeaj said that the United States has expressed its concern regarding the justice system while adding that DP has earned the support of the United States in order to put an end to corruption and economic misery in our country.
In its 2021 report, the US Department of State said that our country suffers from levels of corruption that are spread across the entire state.
According to DoS, the autonomy of the judicial continues to be a concern as well as the lack of impunity, despite the fact that SPAK and other anti-corruption courts made a significant improvement in 2021’.
