The University of Tirana ranked last among the leading universities in the region.
According to “Ranking Web of Universities”, Albania is ranked 3,786 out of 31,000 universities in 200 countries.
The University of Athens topped the list in the region, followed by the Universities of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
The global classification is based on several criteria, such as quality of education, scientific research, and the performance of each university according to what they reflect on their website.
Harvard University continues to be the top leading university in the world, then comes Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
