Political party preferences do not seem to affect the way Albanians perceive which country they consider an ally.
Socialists and Democrats share the same opinion on Albania’s top three benevolent countries.
According to Euronews Albania’s Barometer, 98,7% of Democrats consider the United States as a friendly country.
95,1% of Socialists thought the same.
Democrats and Socialists also held similar opinions when asked about Turkey, with 93% of Democrats and 96% of Socialists perceiving it as a ‘friendly country’.
Meanwhile, 93,6% from the Democratic camp, and 96,2% from the Socialist one, thought Italy was another friendly country to Albania.
The findings are from a face-to-face survey with 1,000 participants conducted by MRB and Data Centrum from 25 Mach to 5 April.
