The founder of airline company Wizz Air, Jefzos Varandi, said that Albania is an attractive destination for European travelers.

During an interview on Euronews Albania’s ‘NOW’ with Erla Mehilli, Varandi asserted that this is one of the reasons why he decided to extend his operations in the Albanian market.

Another reason according to him is the fact that Albanians travel a lot, for both business and leisure.

“First of all, Albanians travel a lot; they travel for work as well as a pleasure. Second of all, I’ve noticed that Albania is a very attractive tourist destination for Europeans but we’re also seeing an interest in new destinations by what travel agencies are advertising in their tourism packages. Albania is one of these destinations that is very interesting for European travelers,” – said Varandi.
