“We will cut all relations with the Democratic Party if you choose Berisha as your leader”.
This is what PM Edi Rama declared during his word before Parliament this Thursday while speaking on the elections of the country’s new president.
“We don’t choose who leads your parliamentary group or DP. If you want to choose and be led by a dead man, we will cut all relations. Too harsh, too lax, you decide for yourselves” – said Rama.
The head of government also underlined that his goal isn’t for Socialists to choose someone from their parliamentary group to become president.
According to Rama, the primary goal is to give Albania a president that is a representative, beyond the Socialist Party, and who can guarantee several simple but necessary qualities.
