Every person in Albania says to have felt the prices becoming more expensive in the last few months, especially food (98.6%), fuel (77.4%), and public transportation (27.5%).
Euronews Albania’s Barometer asked citizens about the impact that increased prices had on them, and how did they deal with that.
More than half (54%) said that they are spending less, in order to survive the crisis.
More than one in three people (35%) said to have renounced some expenses, and 32% admitted to buying products that are cheaper.
A majority (79%) believe that increased prices came as a result of the war in Ukraine.
