On Earth Day, numerous employees of the Social Insurance Firm ALBSIG and the agency of parks and recreations went on a cleanings initiative at Tirana’s Lake as a sign of raising awareness.

Head of marketing at Albsig, Valbona Dako, spoke about the importance of having a clean environment.

“Today on the international Earth Day, together with Albsig and APR, we have come out on a campaign to raise awareness for a cleaner planet. This will not be the first or the last campaign. In the coming months, Albsig will organize other similar campaigns, which will include social responsibility,” – said the head of marketing, Valbona Dako.

Earth Day is an annual event that is celebrated worldwide on April 22, to demonstrate one’s support for protecting the environment.
