Drinking water has become a reason for PM Edi Rama and Democratic MP Jorida Tabaku to clash once again.
Rama has published a video recently, which shows him drinking tap water.
In addition, the Democratic MP took a jab at PM Rama by showing a photo of a Tirana Municipality contract, which shows that the local government spends 2 million ALL a year on drinking water.
“No one sitting in Parliament today drinks tap water,” – said Tabaku during yesterday’s plenum.
“As soon as I go home, I will open up my tap and drink from it. I’ll film myself and put it on Tik-Tok,” – said Rama.
This is what the prime minister actually ended up doing and he invited Tabaku to do the same.
Rama went on to post a second video of him drinking tap water during an inspection of the reconstruction project in the city of Lezha.
Tabaku’s comeback was to publish a photo of this contract on her Facebook page, accompanied by a question for PM Rama, on why so much money goes for drinking water at Tirana’s Municipality, if tap water in Albania is drinkable.
