The Technical Experts Committee made some important decisions during today’s meeting in regards to several anti-COVID measures.
Based on the faced that the epidemiologic situation in the country has improved significantly, starting from May 1, all requirements on wearing a mask will be lifted but wearing a mask is still recommended in closed spaces.
Another decision made by the Committee today, is lifting the ban on nightclubs, while also allowing loud music after 11:00 PM.
During her word earlier today, deputy health minister Mira Rakacolli, said that citizens over the age of 60 and those suffering from auto-immune diseases can opt for taking their fourth anti-COVID vaccine.
Meanwhile, from May 1, the requirement to present a vaccine certificate or proof of a negative rapid test for SARS Cov2, will be lifted for all citizens entering the Albanian border.
Rakacolli also underlined that the Committee will continue to closely monitor the situation and these measures could be reconsidered based on the dynamics of the epidemiological situation in our country and abroad.
