More foreigners entered and left Albania during March 2022, compared to the same period last year, according to INSTAT.
The number of Albanians and foreigners that entered Albania from one of the border crossing points in March, went up by 62.1% compared to the same period last year.
This month, a total of 632 961 tourists entered Albania compared to 275 976 last March.
The same goes for departures, which saw a 66.7% rise compared to March 2021.
During the first trimester of 2022, most citizens – both Albanian and foreigners – entered mainly through Greece.
Entries from Kosovo on the other hand, saw a considerable drop by up to 9.5% compared to the same period last year.
