PM Edi Rama said that the Albanian government hasn’t made any decisions in regards to a request made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in regards to banning Russian tourists from coming to our country.

The reason for this, according to Rama, is the fact that Albania is in line with policies followed by EU member states.

“Our decisions are in line with decisions made by the European Union. No decision has been made by the European Union in regards to this matter, so as long as there is no decision, we will continue on the same plan as in previous years. If we do witness such a decision, we will once again be in complete alignment with the EU,” – said PM Rama.

Rama added that Albania will be offering humanitarian aid for Ukraine tomorrow.

Rama’s statements were made this Wednesday, outside of SP’s headquarters in Tirana, after the party’s Leadership Meeting.
