The Independent Qualifications Commission (KPK) has officially discharged the prosecutor of Gjirokastra’s District Prosecutor, Emror Kasaj.

Prosecutor Emror Kasaj was faced with the vetting process on March 17, which is meant to assess the legitimacy of these professionals’ wealth as well as their compliance with ethical and professional criteria.

Based on the 2010-2016 financial analysis, Kasaj was reported to have a negative balance of up to 31 million ALL.

513 decisions were given by the first instance vetting for judges and prosecutors in 4 years.

199 prosecutors and judges were reconfirmed in office, whereas 191 have been dismissed.
