Analyst Andi Bushati said that Rama has been making all is criticisms towards SPAK under the logo of the Socialist Party, not as a Prime Minister.
Bushati argued that SPAK is under Rama’s control but that the recent attacks are connected to suspicions that yet another minister will be arrested soon.
“There are hypotheses that Rama has planned to ‘sell’ yet another one of his ministers, but in order for him to send this minister to prison by still being his friend, he tells him that SPAK is out of his reach,” – said the analyst.
According to Bushati, at a time when Rama has now entered the second year of his third mandate, the debate should have been focused on what is to be done about the rise in prices.
“In order to skip having to face the catastrophic balance, he used a method that is common amongst all autocrats. He invents an enemy. Throw the people a fairy-tale about an enemy and they’ll be busy talking about it,” – argued Bushati.
The analyst said that the prime minister shouldn’t act like a ‘professor’, but he should answer to the people, by addressing all his failures and things that aren’t going the way they should.
