‘Vucic is the inspirer of Serbian genocide. This man is a small Putin that is ready to repeat these acts at any moment’.
These were the statement made by former PM Sali Berisha during today’s plenum, during which he also underlined that Parliament should most definitely condemn the war crimes committed by Serbia in the past, amongst which – was the Srebrenica massacre.
“The current leaders – headed by Alexandar Vucic – were the architects of this genocide. Vucic is on tape where he can be clearly seen and heard saying that for each Serb, 100 Muslims need to be killed. The classical principle of genocide is based on religious hate,” – said Berisha.
In addition, he added that if the Balkans head towards the EU, one of the major reasons is the wrong goal of the international community when it comes to Vucic.
“We have a major duty to condemn this genocide, which is sanctioned in 2 decisions made by the highest courts of the time in The Hague and the international war crimes court in former Yugoslavia. From the judicial point of view, this is a universal genocide that has been proved and clearly recognized by the whole of the civilized world,” –said Berisha.
