Albania and Switzerland have signed a document that is meant to improve the business and healthcare climate in our country through various climate change projects.

For this program, which will be fully implemented by 2025, Switzerland has allocated a grant to Albanian authorities valued at 100 million euros.

“The financial engagements foreseen to take place from 2022-2025, amounted to 105 million Swiss francs in the form of grants,” – said Delina Ibrahimaj, minister of finances and the economy.

Through this funding, the Swiss government is expecting to see concrete results in terms of our legal system, the business climate and living conditions for Albanian citizens.

“Both of our countries will be working towards the orientation of reforms and achievement of results in 4 main fields: democratic governance, the stable economic development and employment, the infrastructure of services and climate change and healthcare,” – said the minister.

Switzerland is one of the most prominent donors and partners to Albania for some time now.
