Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic arrived on Wednesday in Prishtina as part of his official visit.
Djukanovic was hosted by his Kosovo counterpart Vjosa Osmani.
In a joint press conference, Djukanovic and Osmani said they spoke about the Border Demarcation Agreement.
The diplomatic agreement signed in 2018 has been frequently considered harmful to Kosovo, with Prime Minister Albin Kurti even calling to have the agreement reviewed.
Djukanovic said a joint commission with representatives from both countries will seek to resolve any potential point of contention in the agreement.
In a status shared on Twitter, the Montenegrin President pledged to strengthen bilateral ties “for the mutual benefit and stability of the region”.
