Minister of Tourism Mirela Kumbaro said on Euronews Albania that the greatest Albanian attraction is the fact that it is still undiscovered.
“It is a form of mystery that is ever-more attractive not simply in the region”, Kumbaro said.
Minister Kumbaro said the country is now being more sought after by elitist tourists.
The tourism minister reiterated that the country has a lot to offer not just from a cultural heritage perspective, adding that tourists are particularly attracted by the country’s renowned religious harmony between the main religions as well as their respective communities.
Tourism, Kumbaro said, has boosted the agritourism sector, sowing a new economic perspective for Albanian towns.
“This helps to extend and spread tourists across the entire territory, and avoids having tourists concentrated in a specific region only”, she explained.
