The European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) adopted on Tuesday the reports on Kosovo, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The report on Kosovo calls on the EU Council to promptly take action and liberalize travel visas for the people of Kosovo, REL reports.
For the first time, the report on Serbia says that the final agreement with Kosovo must be based on “mutual recognition”.
While the report on Bosnia strongly condemns efforts that undermine statehood.
After a vote at the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the three reports are set to be discussed and adopted as resolutions of the European Parliament.
These resolutions carry an important political weight however, they are non-binding for EU member states.
