Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti will be meeting with KLA veterans later today.
PM Kurti was the one who through a request obtained by KosovaPress has officially asked for a meeting with veterans, during which their demands will be discussed.
Kurti proposed that the meeting take place at 09:00 a.m. this morning at the PM’s Office.
On the other hand, the head of the Association of Martyr’s Close Family, Xhavit Jashari, has announced that he has accepted to meet with the head of state.
Jashari said to KosovaPress that the reason they will meet with the prime minister is so that they can present their requests directly.
“Tomorrow, we will be at the meeting; we will go to the meeting and present our requests and if they don’t reflect positively on our requests then let them overturn the decision, they have made which excluded the categories that fought in the war from receiving benefits. We will continue on our path and we won’t allow for any further discrimination,” – said Jashari.
