The protest was called by the opposition at the Blvd. Deshmoret e Kombit will take place today at 19:00.
The Democratic Party has reportedly asked for a 2-hour permit from Tirana’s Police.
Over 1.000 police officers have been deployed for today’s protest including dozens from the specialized RENEA forces, emergency response teams, and the National Guard.
Starting from 16:00, traffic will be diverted at the main Blvd. Deshmoret e Kombit, Xhorxh Bush street, and parts of Zhan Dark Blvd.
