Head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha left the party’s headquarters in Tirana and joined groups of protestors that are marching towards Blvd. Deshmoret e Kombit.

The Democratic Party has requested a 2-hour permit from the Tirana Police.

Over 1.000 police officers have been deployed and are currently on the ground and surrounding the Prime Minister’s Office, along with National Guard officers and emergency response teams.

Starting from 16:00, several road closures have been imposed including Deshmoret e Kombit Blvd, Xhorxh Bush St, and parts of Zhan Dark boulevard.
