“Our cooperation through the Open Balkan initiative is concrete. It aims to achieve an economically strong region that is ready for EU integration”.

This is what the head of the Macedonian government, Dimitar Kovacevski said following an online conference call with PM Edi Rama and Serbian president Alexandar Vucic, as part of the Open Balkan initiative.

“Through mixed inter-resource working groups we will together overcome food and energy supply difficulties and possible wildfires in the three countries this summer,” – wrote Kovacevski in a Facebook post.

The head of the Macedonian government also noted that together with the Serbian president and Albanian prime minister they discussed the establishment of a common agency focused on attracting foreign investments to countries participating in the Open Balkan initiative.
