The National Advocacy Chamber has announced that they will be protesting the new judicial map on July 14.

The rally will take place on 11:00 before the budling of the High Judicial Council (KLGJ) in Tirana.

A few days ago, the head of the Advocacy Chamber, Maks Haxhia said that he will ask for disciplinary measures to be taken against lawyers who break the boycott for the new judicial map.

Attorneys will continue their boycott of court sessions until July 17, which only excludes trials that involve minors.

The new judicial map includes a total of 13 first instance courts, 2 administrative courts, and the merger of all district appeals courts into a single one.

Attorneys are asking the government not to adopt this new map and rethink the above-mentioned scheme.
