A plenum has been called by the Macedonian Parliament to discuss the French proposal for the resolution of the country’s dispute with Bulgaria.

Macedonian MPs will be addressed by the head of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.

The proposal has 7 main points. The part that has attracted the most debate is the one stipulating Macedonian history and language.

Meanwhile, opposition parties have been protesting against the French proposal since July 10.
