VMRO DPMNE leader Hristjan Mickovski called on its MPs and those in power to refuse to vote on the French proposal.

Mickoski told MPs to only vote based on their beliefs and national feelings.

“LSDM MPs, I call on you to not fall prey to pressure from the government and several people in your party but act according to your own conscious. I want you to know that my goal isn’t to come to power but to protect our national interests,” – he said.

If they refuse the proposal, Mickoski promised MPs that he will no longer ask for snap elections and that he will support Kovacevski’s government.

Hundreds of citizens have been protesting for more than a week and calling on Parliament to refuse the French proposal.
