Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha took a jab at SPAK and its governing officials during today’s plenum.
According to Berisha, SPAK refuses to investigate PM Edi Rama’s mansions in Surrel, which he declared he bought for 2 euros per meter square.
Berisha also mentioned the condominium owned by his wife’s family in Tirana.
“Why don’t you ask representatives of SPAK, KLD, and KLGJ to investigate Edi Rama’s mansions which have an underground depth of up to 57 meters, a 5 000 meters squared courtyard, which he declared was bought for a mere 2 euros per meter 2.
Also, ask them why they don’t investigate the high-rise belonging to [his wife’s] family, for which they have no receipts, no bank transactions, building permit, anything of the kind yet only 3 weeks ago, they got recompensated 11 million euros for it!” – said Berisha.
