During the same time last year, traffic at the Lalez Bay road axis would be paralyzed for hours at a time due to the high number of visitors.

Today, even though temperatures are high and it’s a weekend, the road is almost empty.

Vendors that sell fruits and vegetables on the side of the road say that this year they are suffering from a lack of holiday-goers.

Beaches at Lalez Bay are usually frequented by same day-visitors who choose to return year after year, but this time around, they seem to have opted for different alternatives.
