A meeting between Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti and Serbian president Alexander Vucic that was planned to take place tomorrow in Brussels has failed.
This is what Kosovo’s deputy PM Besnik Bislimi confirmed during today’s meeting of the Commission on European Integration.
According to him, Kurti was willing to have the meeting but Vucic excused himself by stating the Egyptian president’s 3-day visit as his argument for not being able to go to Brussels.
Bislimi added that Serbia is trying to sabotage and undermine the dialogue process.
A few days ago, EU’s Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak stated that he was planning to organize a high level meeting between Kurti and Vucic in Brussels.
