Democratic Party called today’s oath of office of Bajram Begaj as the new president, the day when Edi Rama’s full monist system gets installed in the country.
“Starting from today, Edi Rama and his party-state, control over 99% of the government in Albania. They have concentrated their hand on 11% more power than Ramiz Alia did back in 1991, when he was the last communist dictator in Albania,” – said the statement.
DP emphasized that every institution is led by a party-state nowadays, whereas in collaboration with the oligarchs, Rama according to DP, has complete control over the economy, finances, and the price of goods, energy, and services.
In the declaration, DP also stated that July 25 and the new president’s oath of office, mark the fall of democratic rule, and the fall of the constitution, which is the only thing that guarantees the balance of powers.
In the end, the statement said that DP considers it a grave danger to democracy and will do everything in its power to rescue the system.
