PM Edi Rama has reacted following recent speculations that according to him, are only being pushed by some news outlets without anything any concrete proof of the most recent developments of the cyberattack.
In addition, he said that the “aggressors have been defeated through the work of a super Albanian-American team’.
Rama declared that none of the data has been deleted and public services are back to work. The prime minister also wrote on Twitter that investigations to identify the authors.
“The entire incident will be reported to the public by the experts involved, as soon as we get a green light on the completion of the excellent work that is being done by a superteam that has been engaged in this operation. I feel great regret for the way the public is being maltreated because of the personal interests of big media bosses,” – wrote Rama on Twitter.
