Albania and Italy have finalized a technical negotiation for the pension agreement.

The news was confirmed by PM Edi Rama through a post on his official Facebook page, where he said that around 500 thousand Albanians are expected to benefit from the agreement.

Earlier, Italian ambassador Fabrizio Buci declared for Euronews Albania that the issue of pensions had started to be negotiated.

In addition, he said that Albanians living in Italy for many years have been facing issues with their pensions not being recognized which is why the situation would be solve by the end of the year.
