Chairman of the Democratic Party, Berisha reacted to the statement of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandër Vučić after the decision on the reciprocity of license plates between Kosovo and Serbia, which comes into effect tomorrow, August 1.

Through a post on social networks, Berisha called Vucic a little Putin who will face the same fate as Milosevic.

“Condemning with the greatest severity, the attitude of the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vučić, towards the agreements and his threat of deadly reaction to the legitimate decision of the government of the Republic of Kosovo, I warn the president of Serbia to stop the threats and not to dare any adventurous act of fate of the butcher of the Balkans, because his spiritual father Slobodan Milishević’s fate is waiting for him”, says Berisha.

During a statement to the media today in Belgrade, Vucic said that he is trying to ask everyone, including the Serbs in Kosovo, not to do anything that could lead to conflict.

However, he came out earlier today, holding a placard with the map of Kosovo covered with the flag of Serbia, adding that “there will be no surrender and Serbia will win”.
