The new European Union Ambassador Christiane Hohmann has arrived in Tirana. The EU diplomat presented the newly elected Albanian President Bajram Begaj, with his Credential Letters today.

During the meeting, the President of the Republic expressed his belief that the arrival of Mrs. Hohmann in Tirana will give a new boost to Albania’s relations with the institutions of the European Union, as well as to the EU accession negotiation process itself.

The President has underlined the political will of Albanian institutions to advance on the path of reforms, stressing that European integration remains the biggest project and priority of Albania and Albanians.
