Diesel prices have returned to pre-war levels for the first time in 5 months.
The steep decline in global markets however, hasn’t been felt in our country where the price citizens have to pay for a liter of diesel is 220 ALL.
Diesel prices for a barrel in London has gone to 95 dollars whereas a liter sells for 220 ALL.
With these quota in international markets, diesel in our country should have at least gone down to what it was 5 months ago, which is under 200 ALL.
Fear of a recession in global markets has pushed prices down by 10% in a week, whereas Albania continues to hold 22nd place in the global ranking of countries with the highest diesel prices.
