Prime Minister Edi Rama has promised to immediately increase the salaries of State Police employees, especially at the basic level.

He said that the relationship established today between the state and police is a relationship of trust, respect, and confidence based on the full political support of all the general directors of police.

According to Rama, there is a new standard in the police that is like night and day compared to the previous system.

“Basically, regardless of what is said and will always be said, there has never been in the history of the State Police, a relationship like the one we have established with the current police, a relationship built on respect and trust, on the full political support of all the director generals of the police,” said Rama during the presentation of the new director of the State Police.
