On Saturday, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will convene the National Security Council. Radio Television of Serbia reported that the meeting will be held on September 10 and that the main topic is expected to be “the situation in Kosovo and other security challenges”.
Also, energy security and winter preparations are expected to be discussed.
The council will meet immediately after the visit of the special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and the advisors of Germany and France for the dialogue, Jenns Plettner, and Emmanuel Beaune.
Meanwhile, this meeting comes after reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on documents at the border.
Kosovo and Serbia have been conducting negotiations for the normalization of relations since 2011.
