The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, congratulated the students who are starting the new school year tomorrow and the children who are sitting in the classroom for the first time tomorrow.
In a statement to the media, he called for new policies for education, which must be of high quality and linked to the job market.
“Unfortunately, the budget for education is the lowest and this has brought direct consequences such as dropping out of schools, institutional illiteracy in an extraordinary percentage, the significant decrease in the number of high school students and university students, but also in all other cycles of education,” said Meta.
Another concern raised by the head of the Freedom Party was the demotivation of the country’s teachers, above all due to the politicization of this sector.
