A liter of diesel in the country will be sold for 216 LEK. The decision was made today by the Transparency Board.
In addition, gasoline will be sold at 194 LEK/liter and gas at 77 LEK/liter.
The price of diesel has been reduced by 8 LEK, gasoline by 4 LEK, and gas by 1 LEK.
The prices set by the Board will come into force today at 18.00 and will be valid until the next meeting of the Board where changes to the sales prices will be reflected.
“The Ministry of Finance feels the obligation to clarify the public opinion that not every movement of the crude oil exchange is reflected at the same time and to the same extent in the diesel and gasoline exchange. We’d also like to emphasize that the Board does not set the prices of crude oil, but of diesel, gasoline, and liquid gas according to the standards defined in the Normative Act”, says the announcement of the Transparency Board.
