Prime Minister Edi Rama gave an interview for German press Der Spiegel, during which he said that there is a point where he does not particularly agree with the Serbian president, Aleksander Vucic, despite the cooperation they have with the Open Balkan initiative.

“For Kosovo, we agreed to not agree. I think that Serbia should recognize Kosovo. But Aleksander Vucic can’t do this. But at least we can talk about the topic. And we can cooperate on projects like the one of the Open Balkans,” said Rama.

Regarding Kosovo’s participation in Open Balkan, Rama said that Kurti expects Serbia’s apology first, which he himself agrees with, but thinks that something like this will only happen when the dialogue actually starts to work.

The Prime Minister recalled that he was the first Albanian leader to visit Serbia after 68 years.
