Democratic Party MP Flamur Noka, says that the logo of this political force is being held ‘hostage’ by Prime Minister Edi Rama, but that he cannot control the will of Democrats and the people behind the opposition.
In an interview for “Euronews Albania”, Noka said that candidates of the DP and the winners will have a plebiscite in the local elections.
“What I can tell you for sure is that the candidates who make it out of the primaries are the legitimate representatives of the Democrats. Now, the issue of the logo is widely known, it is being held hostage by Edi Rama. But Edi Rama can hold hostage through his orders, the logo, the seal, but he cannot hold hostage the will of the democrats and the opposition people.
Local elections will clearly confirm a plebiscite victory of our candidates. We have no intention of running on our own, we are sure that we will run with a very large coalition,” he emphasized.
