Prime Minister Edi Rama declared after the meeting of the Council of Ministers that there will be salary increases for several categories.
In a statement to the press, Rama said that the decision to increase salaries will come into effect immediately.
“For the State Police, the basic level, as well as the middle level, should have a salary supplement. The highest allowance is for the basic level, the following allowance is for the intermediate level. The same applies to the National Guard, the Prison Police, the fire brigade, the public administration and not only civil servants, but also support workers.
All these decisions come into force immediately. The future salary that all these categories will receive will be the updated version according to determinations made in the relevant decisions and according to the percentages based on each of the categories”, he emphasized.
