The most recent bill for the purchase of electricity in the foreign market increased this October. After closing the procedure for the whole month, where KESH spent €34 million euros, another €4 million euros have been spent on top of that already.

The purchases were made during the last days when the price is 2 times lower compared to the first day of October.

Together with the purchases in the previous months, the bill that our country has paid for electricity during this year so far reaches €334 million euros.

On the other hand, the situation with local production looks good, even though the rains of the last few days have not increased the current levels in the HPPs of Drini.

KESH reports that the flows in Koman and Fierze are 60 and 65 m3 per second, while the current energy reserve is being saved for the cold winter months when consumption needs are expected to increase.

Meanwhile, in order to increase production, the two floating TECs in Vlora are expected to be put into operation at the end of this year, which will guarantee supply for about 200 thousand subscribers.
