This Saturday, at 16:00, the opposition led by DP chair Sali Berisha will be holding a protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in Tirana.

About 1,000 police officers are on standby, while some road axes have been closed since 15:00.

Police carrying gas masks were seen on the streets a few hours before the start of the protest. They have already surrounded the Prime Minister’s Office. The building is armored and the lighting poles near the area where the protest will be held are greased.

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and other democratic functionaries have not ruled out any scenarios for today’s protest.

Berisha arrived at the DP headquarters around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, shortly before the beginning of the November 12 protest.
