The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said in a press conference that the November 12 protest ‘shook the narco-state’.

Berisha also underlined that the protesters sent a clear message to the chancellors of Europe and the world that there is a group of people in Albania that are willing to overthrow this regime.

“This government has no law and no morals. Albanians should not be impoverished from month to month, we should not remain a people of rafts. The November 12 protest shook the foundations of a monist government that is based on stealing votes, stealing public property while being based on fear, blackmail, drugs, and crime. It was the best message that citizens sent to Albanians wherever they are. They sent them the message of hope, faith and victory. The protesters also sent a message to the offices of Europe and the world that in addition to a narco-state that we have here in Albania, there is also a whole group of people ready to overthrow this regime”, he said.
