The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, called on internationals not to support the regime of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.

During his speech at the protest, Berisha declared that Albania cannot have stability if the citizens do not vote freely.

“Two words for Albania’s friends and partners. The Albanian opposition has the most excellent heritage of cooperation with you. EU member countries, NATO member countries, the strategic partner of the Albanians, the USA, all that you have built, based on the values you share, on the free vote, on the freedom and rights of citizens. Constitutionality, law enforcement. Today, I appeal to you: do not support the regime of Edi Rama, because Edi Rama is an enemy of the free vote of Albanians.

Any support for him is a failure for Albanians. As from this square, I must declare to you that Albania will never have stability without the free vote of the Albanians. Stability and the vote, stability, and trust, stability and the future, will be inseparable”, stressed the chief democrat.
