The MP of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Xhavit Haliti, says that Prime Minister Albin Kurti should withdraw from his decision on the issue of vehicle license plates.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Haliti stated that negotiations between the two countries should begin, to avoid a possible conflict.

“I believe that the government of Kosovo should withdraw from its decision on license plates and postpone the deadline requested by Mr. Escbar, or the European Union and start the talks starting from the Franco-German plan. We have to start negotiations, this license plate issue, if we reach an agreement acceptable to both parties, there will be no need to create such situations. They have publicly threatened that the first fine that will be given in the north will have serious consequences”, he emphasized.
