Prime Minister Edi Rama has criticized the media regarding the reporting on the floods in the region of Shkodra.

Through a post on social media, Rama says that in 2010, when the right was in power, the flooded area in Shkoder was 14.2 hectares, 2580 homes were flooded and 12,145 people were evacuated.

While, according to the Shkoder municipality’s reports on the floods in recent days, the flooded area is 1685 hectares and 99 hectares have been evacuated.

“This is what cameras with a narrow viewpoint and tongues with a broad range do to the public, always for the same purpose, inciting hatred, while the facts from the same source, the municipality of Shkoder(!), speak more clearly than there is for the truth overthrown by the chorus of ignorance and wickedness!”, wrote Rama on Twitter.
