Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is paying a visit to Albania today, focusing on the Greek minorities in the south of the country, in Himare, Finiq and Dropull.
He arrived by military helicopter in Himare.
After that, he was welcomed by the residents of the area, while he was visiting the Greek school, “Omiron”.
Accompanied by the head of Omonia, Fredi Beleri, he has declared that he will unconditionally support the integration of Albania in the EU, the settlement of pensions in Greece and the support of Himariots as minorities.
He said that he will soon build a Greek high school in the area of Himara.
With Greek flags in their hands, the residents, who also came from the villages of Himara, cheered in the crowd.
