The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, asked the court to resolve the case of January 21.

According to him, Berisha brags about the murders that took place that day and SPAK should immediately withdraw the file from the Tirana prosecutor’s office.

In a statement to the media, Balla said that the prosecution should declare incompetence since the killing orders were given by the highest government officials that day.

“This issue should have gone to SPAK in time. As of July 27, there is actually a procedural request from the injured party that requests the transfer of the file to the Special Prosecutor’s Office. Let’s end the impunity of those who were involved in the orders of January 21. SP experts have started work on drafting another criminal complaint addressed to the Special Prosecutor’s Office,” said Balla.

“Meanwhile, another new material evidence has been published recently. Guard Commander Ndrea Prendi ordered the murders, choosing the killers himself. It even seems clear that he is the orderer. Berisha could not hide the crime,” he added.
